Eavestrough & Gutters by Raindeer Roofing in Calgary

Eavestrough & Gutters

Eavestrough and gutters,
water where it belongs.

Your eavestrough has one job: move water off the roof and away from your foundation. When it is undersized, clogged, or poorly pitched, that water ends up somewhere you do not want it. We install and repair seamless aluminum systems that actually work.

The Raindeer Way

Small system, big job.

Eavestrough is easy to ignore until a downpour sends water sheeting over the edge and pooling against your foundation. Done right, a seamless aluminum system quietly collects the water off your entire roof and carries it well away from the house, protecting your foundation, your basement, and your landscaping.

We install and repair seamless eavestrough and downspouts, formed to fit your home with the right size and pitch so water actually moves. If you are already having roofing, soffit, or fascia work done, it is the ideal time to sort out the eaves too, since the crew is right there at the edge of the roof.

What We Cover

Eavestrough services

Seamless aluminum eavestrough

Formed to length on site, so there are far fewer seams to leak over time.

Downspouts and extensions

Sized and placed to carry water well away from your foundation.

Repairs and re-pitching

We fix sagging, leaking, or poorly pitched troughs so water flows the way it should.

Gutter guards

Optional leaf and debris guards to cut down on cleaning and clogs.

Right size for your roof

Larger 6-inch troughs where a roof sheds a lot of water fast, so it does not overflow.

Foundation protection

The whole point is keeping water away from the house, which protects your basement and foundation.

Paired with soffit and fascia

We coordinate eaves work with fascia and soffit so the roof edge works as one system.

Itemized quoting

Clear pricing for the trough, downspouts, and any guards, with nothing hidden.

FAQ

Eavestrough & Gutters questions.

It depends on how much roof drains to each run. Many Calgary homes do fine with standard 5-inch troughs, but a large or steep roof section may need 6-inch to keep up with heavy rain. We will size it to your roof.

Good gutter guards meaningfully reduce how often you need to clean the eaves and help prevent clogs, especially under trees. They are not fully maintenance-free, but they help. We can include them if it makes sense for your home.

Often, yes. Sagging, leaking, or poorly pitched troughs can frequently be repaired or re-pitched rather than fully replaced. We will tell you honestly which makes more sense.

If the timing works, it is efficient to do them together since the crew is already at the roof edge. That said, eavestrough can absolutely be done on its own whenever you need it.
